Initialize the configuration to factory default

This is done using the CLI with a console connection.

Execute the execute factoryreset command.

After executing the command, the system will restart, so wait until the system boots.

FortiGate-60E login:

Delete local log

The execute factoryreset command does not delete logs stored locally in FortiGate.

To delete the log, execute the execute log delete-all command.

FortiGate-60E # execute log delete-all
This will delete all local logs and recreate report database.
